Quality Assurance Program

Trident’s Quality Assurance (QA) Program is inherent to all of our endeavors. We provide quality products and processes to all of our programs. For many, the sole measure of success of the contract is based on meeting stringent quality control standards. To further our commitment to QA, Trident earned the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 2 rating from the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University in April 2011, and is committed to continual process improvement. Trident team personnel are thoroughly trained in the QA processes that the Company employs. Our approach is a set of structured levels that guide behaviors, practices and processes of our organization to reliably and sustainably produce required outcomes. Throughout contract performance, Trident continually assesses the quality processes in use on each program and provides recommendations and changes to the processes, as needed. It is our intention to use quality processes as a tool to continuously improve all SeaPort-E products and services. This continuous process will prevent the unnecessary costs associated with rework.

Our Quality Control Plan (QCP) will ensure that 1) the SeaPort-E program is being managed and performed in a sound, reasonable way; 2) the SeaPort-E services provided are prioritized and focus is on the most critical tasks; and 3) the SeaPort-E program deliverables are of acceptable quality prior to delivery.

Our QCP focuses on how quality is measured, when quality checks occur, and how corrective actions are determined and implemented. The QCP is a tool that helps the program deliver the highest possible quality result within committed resources, schedule and budget.
